LEADING LUXURY JEWELER OPENS NEW STORE IN SHORT HILLS, NJ

Bernie Robbins Fine Jewelry, the region’s leading luxury jeweler, announced that it expanded into the North Jersey market. Celebrating the Grand-Opening on November 30, 2006, Short Hills, NJ, is the newest home to Bernie Robbins Fine Jewelry.

As a result of the rapid growth of the company over the years, this tenth store will help reach a new clientele for Bernie Robbins. “We are very enthusiastic about this new venture for our company and excited to join the Short Hills community,” explained Harvey Rovinsky, owner and president of Bernie Robbins. “Building a new client base and growing our company is always a goal for us and this will help us achieve it.”

Bernie Robbins promises to give its clients the best shopping experience in the Garden State; having ten stores located throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The new location, a pre-existing free-standing retail space, was redesigned to capture the signature feel of Bernie Robbins. The experience brings champagne with shopping, jellybeans while browsing and cappuccinos at the jeweler’s art deco cappuccino bar, The Jewel Box. Children will be entertained in their own special area complete with movies, toys and games in the store. Also located inside the new store will be an in-house goldsmith to assist clients with special requests and custom orders.

Kenny Linsky will manage the day-to-day operations of the store. Linsky has over 23 years of experience in the luxury jewelry industry and most recently held the position of Director of Sales for Codium & Rand; site holders with DeBeers. A graduate of Boston University, Linsky’s primary responsibilities include overseeing the construction and merchandising of the store and recruiting and hiring staff for the location. He resides with his family in the nearby area.

The company has been in existence for over forty years and has undergone five progressive incarnations. Rovinsky runs the company along with his wife and co-owner, Maddy. Together they are dedicated to providing knowledgeable and personalized service in a comfortable, luxurious atmosphere in each of their stores
